A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

Wait....what day is it?

God has almost a full week gone by already?
I've sat down here like five times attempting but everytime it's like I'm sitting on a whoopie cushion. It makes a funny noise and then nothing.

Tonight I am sticking with it.
Why?
I have three hours and fifteen minutes to waste at the library.

Yeah, I'm subbing, like I said I wasn't going to...at all this semester since I pretty much used up all of my hours last semester.
But when I see three e-mails going out asking for a sub, those three e-mails belonging to three people that all work at the same time and see that no one has responded...Library Loving Loey takes over. I live like a skip and a jump from the library so I feel almost obliged to jump over and save the day. I really can't blame people either since everyone is mad ass fucking sick. I swear like over half the campus is like dying right now. I've never seen so many sub requests go out at the same time.
So yeah, I'm the only one working right now. Yeah, midnight seriously sucks but what can I do? I am actually not sick (though a gland in the right of my neck by my jaw is doing weird poking pain right now) so I figure I might as well help out.
My friend Evan had freakin' vertigo he was so sick and that's when I was like "Dude, go back to your dorm and sleep. I will tell professor myself that you need to sleep." That was Tuesday. He's better today. I'm not like good friends with him but when I see him half-dead in drawing class my mom's nurse takes over me and I'm all "whao! What's wrong?"
One guy wandered in for like fifteen minutes or so and I was like "What are you doing here? Go rest! I've got it covered."
I wondered what they'll do. I mean everyone has been wicked sick lately and been missing a week of classes or more. It is really awful. Hopefully professors will understand. It really sucks and then midterms is next week.
Personally I'm hoping my line of good luck holds out and that I don't get sick. If I do I hope it waits until spring break (though even that would suck a little as I have mucho grande homework to do that week).

In my own way I have been a little sick though. That stress thing I thought I was having? Yeah, well Sunday and Monday I had two anxiety attacks. I went home for the night on Sunday because mom was like "You need to see your dog" and while attempting to sleep I suddenly sat up unable to breathe. I haven't been hit like that in a while.
It happened again on Monday night when I got back to campus. To some degree I let it happen a little while my logical mind raced around all "What? What?! Why are-what is happening? What iz dee reesun forl dis?" My friend Ton walked in while I was attempting to calm myself down and was like "Are you sick?" For some reason I was actually honest and was like "Yeah, I'm a bit stressed." We vented to each other and it was all cool.
I've stayed pretty calm these past few days which is good. I'm also taking my pill that I have for times when I'm all "OMGZ!" I haven't done it in a while because I would really prefer to not be dependent on meds for anything. I'm really reluctant and the only thing I take regularly a pill is to stop my raging acne. Still, I prefer to not have anxiety attacks either.

Today was a rather good day though. It was beautiful outside and after my drawing class I rinsed myself and then got ready to take a walk. As I was headed out I saw Ton and invited her to go along. It was wonderful. Sunset is my most favorite time to walk. I got some wonderful pictures but haven't had the time to upload them yet. Ton was in utter amazement, being a city girl. She hadn't seen that side of campus yet and was in awe. She kept exclaiming how she felt like she was in a movie and how pretty it was. I was glad to share the experience with her and show her the side of New York that I know and love. It was truly beautiful and I feel much better for the walk myself. My tree hugger is happy.

Some surprising news today is that my building is going co-ed. My building, that holds every symbol of the school, the tower, Minerva, the Sycamore! It is going co-ed! I am in utter disbelief with a majority of people I've heard from. It is only one floor but it is my floor. Sure, I live with five guys at home but holy jeebus. This is freakin' Wells! It is just...(wo)man.

Interesting news: for a sociology experiment we had to be deviant, breaking a folkway, more', or law. Most of us chose a folkway as that does not get you arrested. Some of the deviances done by classmates were sitting on the floor and eating in the dining hall, eating without utensils, being rude, walking around with their fly down, parking in the handicapped spot, putting the mattress out in the hallway and sleeping, walking around the building with a face mask on and more. My personal choice was walking around backwards, including up and down stairs, up and down hills and sitting in my chair backwards. Most of the reactions I got were "What are you doing?" One person asked "Did you lose a bet?" "I'm going to follow you all day just to see what happens" and then one person decided to walk down the stairs backwards with me. I had a conversation with one person face to face while walking backwards.
Mind you besides getting reactions I got a workout. My thighs are not used to that nor are my calves. You're essentially walking on the balls of your feet in a slight squat with a very straight back when walking backwards if you want to actually get anywhere at an efficent pace. I'm pretty good at it and I might do it again just for the hell of it.

Another interesting bit of news, my friend Paul roped me in to being on an athletic committee. I don't even think I actually officially said I'd do it...but now I am. When he talked to me about it I didn't realize he was inviting me in to it, just randomly telling me about it as I waited for Ton and then next thing he's all "Who else should be in it?" My brain was like "Did I miss something?" But that's Paul for you. He's funny like that. I just find the thought funny that I am on an athletic committee because I am really not athletic....at all. Well, Paul isn't either but it still makes me laugh at myself. A handful of other students are on this committee too, like real athletes.
Should be interesting. *still shaking her head at the thought*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I'm going to roll out. About 1 1/2 hours have passed sinceI started this (been doing other things at the same time).
Peace yall.
~Lo
