A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

Dreamin'

I hate random pain. Such as now just waking up and it feeling like someone is knawing with razor sharp teeth and hyena strength jaws on my right shoulder. It was doing this all night for no reason at all. I don't remember doing anything to it. It just f-ing hurts.

My dreams were wild, the most vivid that I can remember them for a while. There was a lot of art work, but not traditional artwork, like amazing alternative, not paint/pencils/paper artwork but like...wow.

So first it started out (well from where I can remember it) sort of like "The Time Traveler's Wife", a book I'm reading but the girl was always in this two story box-house in Russia and this girl was Nicole Kidman and I was the man that kept going to visit her. But we're actually making a movie and the girl/character that Nicole is playing is like f-ed up.
Anyhoo I leave the weird box house and then I'm at the Wells library taking a break from the movie stuff sort of. I'm manning the desk and helping people and sending e-mails back and forth with my movie company sorting things out. This kid Gordy comes in and sits at a carrol(desk things you can rent in the library, in real life movies they sometimes use them as settings but Wells ones are a-typical). Gordy has his laptop out and starts jammin' to music and I'm like "Hey, do you know where you are? Turn the music down. With the acoustics in here you can hear that on all three floors." Well he turns it down a little but then continues anyway. Finally Elsie runs over and really chews him out.
Next thing I'm back on the movie thing. But I'm in New Zealand(so the dream tells me) and I'm filming Frodo and Sam for part of the movie I'm making. They've already gotten rid of the ring and are standing on this old dock looking forelorn and lost and just talking and kind of mourning the pains of their journey. Everything is grey, slatey, calm dark water and a broken down looking dock. There is a crotchet red net thing stretching up the "beach". We finish the scene and I'm walking with Frodo and Sam. Sam says "I made that net" and I'm all "Yeah, I remember." We joke and I say "Lord of the Rings never ends does it?" Sam laughs and says "Yeah, ain't that the truth." Then I'm talking and I think I'm talking to Sam but then he pulls his face off and it's his scale double.
After that we're wandering around this little area of New Zealand(which looks nothing like New Zealand but dream says it is so I go with it) and we see all these people wandering down this dirt road with bags. Further on down the road I see a highway over pass but no one uses the high way, they just walk. So everyone is coming down this country road in this tuskacy, reedy/brown grass, gently hilly landscape with their arms full of bags from grocery shopping.
I follow one person to their house. I don't remember the outside, I just remember being in it. This woman drops her bags off and goes around talking about her kids while I look around. Essentially the house is all one room except this area to the right which is like two story rectangle length-wise on right wall, the bottom story being open and the parents room/kitchen and the second story having blackened windows, a ladder going up and is the kid's room. The rest of the house is set up interestingly. The shower/bathroom is just partitioned off with this plastic pull out wall. The water pipes were huge and elaborately configured all over the ceiling with this rather complexly organized cover thing that if you pull door handle retracts covers the pipes for when they're being used so that they don't drip on the rest of the house.
Next we wander outside and the wife is talking about her husband's weird habit for collecting bins and five gallon buckets. Actually these were the bins Bucket
and they were like on their sides all these different colors winding down this side of this valley, some even painted like American flags. But at the same time it was artistic because of the meticulous to it. And then there were some being randomly carried away on this river/stream in the middle of the valley. This worried me a little but whatever, his crap, his mind.
Then we walk down this other dirt road and here come all these Amish people but in like parade fair. They're dressed all fancy and flashy Amish style, almost Victorian and their horses are bedecked and groomed to shine and glossy black. This little girl comes riding along in this pink dress on a giant black Clydesdale with white socks and pink and black harness and there's a chestnut/sorrel Clydesdale trotting along beside them. There comes more of the procession all headed up hill. And then most freakin' gaintic animals ever come. First it's the HUGE Black Angus bull pulling something, like he's gotta be thirty feet tall and he is pulling a huge black Shire horse, bigger than the bull and the shire is pulling another bigger bull and the bigger bull is pulling another bigger horse. It just kept going and my jaw is down the whole time. They continue on their merry way.
Then the last part that I remember is winding down this road thing with all these Lego things and artwork but they're awesome. All of them are in light blues, light pinks, white at least four foot by four foot in span. They're constructions of cities mostly and they are fargin' awesome. I had Legos in my feet though and had to kick them off. There were other desplays too, all crazy awesome artwork, one being made of like match sticks or something. Then there was a square all of this jewelry, all silver and rather cheapish with lost of earrings and bracelets but made by the locals as were the Lego city sculptures.
Oh and there was something with swords and stuff for Peat's movie for The Painted Man in there somewhere but I don't really remember that well.
That's all I remember.

It seems I always dream with crazy visual arts. I always wake up and I remember the amazing pair of earrings, the intricate clothing, the design of a building. I remember the things. I almost never remember a human face. I never actually "see" human faces in dreams, I just sense who the person is. But I am never told anything in dreams I just sense them, I already know them. My brain accepts it.
This dream was just rather intricate and is the first that I've remembered for a while.

I've been sleeping close to ten hours every night since I've been home. I become exhausted for no reason at ten PM and sleep until 7 or 8 the next morning. I haven't stayed up late once(even though I should be. I have a lot of work to get done that I am not which means I hussle-butt this week).

~~~~~~
Anyhoo not much going on my reality. I saw Drillbit Taylor last night(really funny!) and have been doing my education stuff. I typed 4500 words of notes in a day so I haven't wanted to start the paper really. It's due Thursday. I really want to tell my professors they suck. My body demanded sleep and TV so I gave it. It wants nothing to do with homework. It wants to not be stressed but it is.
Oh yeah, I can't stop eating either. I'm going to have gained like ten pounds because I am stuffing my face all the time. My body is just like "FOOD!!!"
P.S. I love John Legend.
This album, Once Again, is awesome. Very chill but good. This is one of my favorite songs off of it.
That's it. Peace.
~Lo
