A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

I am a Turtle

Okay....since I actually cannot decide on a new name *drum roll*

I am currently Your Favorite Annoying Turtle.
I am the Ever Changing T Word.
So every time I make a new entry I am changing the T. If I am not the Teen I will be everything T.

Yeah. Huge change. So crazy. Right.

I think once I am 21 I will change it to something permanent. But for the next year I will be a pretty dynamic name.
It's time to be creative.

The rest of the birthday went well.
I went to the bookstore. YEAH! I saw Peat's book (hard to find actually, it was on some random shelf so screw you Borders) and mom almost bought it but then I had to warn her of the gore...to which she is not a fan at all.
I ended up with Geek Love by Katherine Dunn and World Without End by Ken Follett and Kanye West's 808 and Heartbreak.

Before dinner I got a call from Ben in France. He was pretty much gushing about France and I grinned inwardly like "Bitching/fighting is so worth it" (we had like a very long argument when he said he wasn't going to go back in January or something, after he had a scholarship. Obviously he went). It was raining and thundering and lightning outside but that's what you brave to hear a voice. :-P

Dinner was a-maze-zing. Best meal EVAR! Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, asparagus...but like awesome style. Foodgasm for sure. It was nice being out with Nanny, mom and dad too.

:-)

And now I am home with the facebook birthday spam (holy jeebus) and talking to good e-friends.

Oooh, about the shoe store I went to today. They had these two long haired white cats and the cats had the COOLEST cat eyes I have ever seen in my life. They were so bright, like marbles, pale pale green but like jewels. The one cat had two different colored eyes, one the green and another a blue like the pale bright blue summer sky. Their eyes will stay in my mind.

We went up to our friend's house/farm yesterday and I was able to see goats and horses in one shot. I got my hands fuzzy with all the petting I did and shared some nice moments looking in to the golden oval eyes of the goats as I scratched their necks. Very friendly they were. Horses were nice too, Halflingers, a good breed of horse, like a compacted draft horse.
I love the smell of our friend's house/farm....like drying herbs, tilled earth, garlic, soft animal smell, fresh air, work...just wonderful.
I tried a sip of Elderberry wine there (holy crap, nasty bitter!) and brandy (not so bad, fruity they way they made it). Here's to a slight bit of deviance. I will not turn in to a drinker but a sip here and there isn't bad (or maybe it is, that wine...agh!).

That's the news for now.
Peace.
~Lo the Turtle

Oh and thank you for all the birthday wishes, my loves.
