A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

Happy

So I don't get to see Lala today. She is really busy with school but it's okay. It is beautiful outside and there are a bunch of things happening on campus.

Ben and I are taking the weekend off since both of us have a full schedule this weekend and then I am busy on Monday as well (I go from 8am to about 11pm). But it's okay. We had a really nice talk last night. I am determined to help him learn how to play Dust in the Wind on piano even though I don't know how to play it myself. I went hunting for the music and youtube How-to videos.
I had a pretty funny moment with my stuffed animal goat Jingles and the webcam. I was just sitting there when BAM! I just whip out Jingles and hold him in front of the camera! I've had this stuffed animal since I was six or seven and it has dread locks, eyes wearing off, sewn hooves, and very little color left. Ben started laughing his ass off because I proceeded to make my goat do a dance and sing. Then later the lights were shut off and I whip out my flash light and put it on the the goat and make it look like it was manically laughing. Hahaha. I am a dork but it was awesomely funny. There was much rejoicing and it apparently made his day to see my goat dancing, haha.

Actually I made two people's day yesterday. I wrote on my friend Amanda's white board, a simple "I <3 Amanda!" and later I was walking down the hallway and she was like "Did you write that?" "Yes." "I love you! That made my day!"
Small good deeds for people are fun.

Oooh dinner is always interesting and hilarious. When I sit with Guy and Sammy the basketball players usually end up around us. We get in arguments some times but other times I crack the hell up. I am warming up to them. This giant caramel skinned guy Juan has like...the cutest baby face when he smiles. His expressions are mad funny. I used to think he was a butt face but now he's chill. Then there is Tony who is always making us crack up. He was singing a T. Pain song in this terrible falsetto and then broke out in to the Oompa Loompa song. He's a goof face, for real. His friend Adam (the one other white person at the table besides me and also graduated from my high school a year after me) just sits there like shaking his head and trash talking with Guy. It's pretty fun. We get on random topics like ass hair (???, yeah...) and then Tony and I will try to like....out-gross each other. Darrell stopped by, Sammy's former crush, and spread the love in his goofy friendly way. Darrell's girlfriend is beautiful but she was hugging Juan and Juan just made this face like he was in pain or like "Okay...can someone get her off me?" It was so funny!
I love my college brothers. You can just sit there and have a good time.

After dinner Guy, Sammy and I went on a walk. It was nice to walk in the coming darkness. We went out to the Council Tree which is amazing sight. Some trees have real presence and this is one of those trees. My girls and I don't always need to talk. We can just walk and enjoy each others company. They are the best really. I don't know if I can say that enough.
Guy slept in the room last night since her roommates were gone. I understood though. It's strange to sleep in your dorm room alone when you are used to the sounds of other people. Your being notices their breathing and when you fall asleep to that you notice the lack of it. The silence seems deeper.

But I'm gonna get going. I got my Ivy plant today!!! It's a sophomore status thing. :-D Me sentio contento.

Adios.
Peace.
~Lo
