A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

So much to do and so little time....

So...basically I'm still going nuts. Not with the social relationships, just in my attempt to balance life.

Taking four 300 classes, having five to six club-related events or responsibilities each week and then working....Oh yes, I am going slightly out of my mind.
To cap it off Guy is coming today and I am still trying to figure out how to get her a ride from the airport since she just told me the time she is coming in like...yesterday.
Then I just found out that for the majority of the day that she will be here tomorrow both Sammy and I are booked. I am busy straight through until 9:30pm that night with work. So is Sammy.
Today I have to at least straighten my room up and get some farking homework done.

On top of this I feel like my upper body has been chewed on because my muscles are so sore from attending Self-Defense class on Monday. I thought I could last a semester without it but apparently it is just an addiction at this point. Class was fun and I really enjoy getting in to that predatory mindset but...my body hurts. I need to stretch next time before I just throw myself in to "Hardcore falling and rolling session! Yeah!" The instructors were glad to have me back though they hardly recognized me with my hair being a foot shorter. They also know I am the naturally most tolerant of the people that no one else wants to partner with. Of course. So I got Colleen, who had super sweaty shoulders while doing shoulder grabs and no taste for pain. I did get some entertainment out of continually making her jump. I think the aura that I give off when I'm in "the mode" tends to be a little bit scarier than average chill-Lo. I also give off the "I'm hardcore" impression when I fearlessly throw myself at the mats repeatedly and then make loud "BOOM!" noises as I do the breakfalls with my arms.
But anyhoo this whole "Holy shit, muscle pain!" thing sucks. I love the class but damn. Swimming doesn't quite bring me to that level yet.

Swimming stuff. Yes.
I'm getting there. I'm still a little scaredy in the water and damn does my coordination suck but the freestyle is getting perfected slowly and I can do a vague impression of the backstroke. Breast stroke and side stroke? Nooooo.
The fun part is watching TurboKicker 5000, the one guy in the class. He is a beginning swimmer like I am but he has the most crazy kick ever. You have to wait until he is halfway across the width before you go or you will drown in his leg splashing. He is like a motorboat engine in the water...except that all that kicking doesn't really keep him floating necessarily. It's all good fun anyway.

But I have wasted too much time at this point and must go play with stats homework and then jump in the pool and then just...well...sign my life away to homework.

Peace.
~Lo
