A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

I need Depends

You know....I've aged a lot since the last time I've written...
Old Man

Last night we had this tradition called Junior Blast, an event where the junior class gets together and drinks and a few of us christen our mugs (gigantic huge things and christening it means having your first drink of booze from it). Our party theme was Retirement Home so I dressed up as an old man, Nerf gun shotgun included.
I'd say I'm a pretty good cross dresser. ;-) Only thing is I'm not sure too many old men can dance like I can.
I had an awesome time dancing with my friends and just being completely ridiculous. It was a great night!

Before I went to Junior Blast I was in a dorm doing my own mug christening with my senior friends Paul, Lizzy and Sammy D. I actually felt the effects of being tipsy. (I had just taken a walk, and my stomach was growling so it hit me a little quick [weak jello shots and a Smirnoff]). The slight loss of limb control was a bit weird (triggered my paranoid side honestly) and I was a bit more...silly than normal. I went to the computer lab with my friends a moment and log on and Matt was on. He messages me "I iz done! (with my theater thesis)" Me "Yes you iz! And I iz in your dorm!" Him "Where?"
So he got to see me dressed up as an old man (wearing his shirt actually) and laughed at my ridiculousness. I kissed him joyfully and he grinned when he tasted my breath. He knows I am not a drinker so it was kind of funny for him to be able to poke me about it. :-)

This weekend I met his parents and it wasn't as nerve wracking as I thought. His dad is a preacher so I was kind of sketchy on that (I haven't been Christian for some time now and my experience with preacher/church families has been a tad bit awkward). But the man is very nice. Slightly intimidating because both of Matt's parents are very smart. However Matt is pretty sure I passed the parents test (thank Bob!). I think I like his adopted Aunt a little better though. She reminded me more of the insanity that is my own family, a woman to relax around completely.

Matt's thesis theater performance itself was very snazzy. It was two scenes from Romeo and Juliet focused on conflict. There was blood and violence and I enjoyed it. Matt was directing and acting in his production and I have to say when I saw him make his entrance my heart did a bit of a flip-flop. He looked daaaaaang sexy playing Mercutio and he just had this presence and projection of his speech that was very impressive. The man can act.
Of the two violence scenes they had I was most impressed by the first between Tybalt, George and another Capulet (forgot the name). The violence felt more real. My friend Emily played George and she ends up on the ground being kicked and beaten up. She screams she sets the whole audience on edge and really convinces you she is in PAIN!
So 'twas a good showing.

Now after all the fun of the past few days today is a homework day. I have two massages to give and am spending some well deserved time with my manfriend this evening.

It's crunch time. Only two weeks left of classes so I need to book it.
Have a good one.

Peace.
~Lo
