The Toddler Diet
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

Yes, the Toddler Diet, which basically involves a sometimes severely limited caloric intake in addition to large doses of physical exercise. This is what happens to you when you have to chase a suddenly mobile toddler around. I can only eat when he's strapped down or when he's asleep. (Two very rare circumstances.)

Doesn't help that I'm sick. But G. has Scouts tonight and Andy is late coming home, and I will be chasing E. until about 8:30 tonight, with more of the same tomorrow, because G. has a pack meeting tomorrow. (Tonight it's a den meeting, and Andy will stay to help. They're going to be using hammers and nails. If a vision of 8 or 9 second grade boys weilding hammers doesn't scare you, nothing will.) So it looks like maybe I'll be able to book time to be sick on Friday night for about an hour.

Just waiting on the pizza to get here so I can scarf a few bites before I have to pull E. down from some high place again...
