Finished Evergreen today - FINALLY. A little over 12,000 words. Posted it on the workshop, just for old time's sake, I guess, and because it would be nice to get a few crits on it before I send it out. It's been so long since I've had anything *to* crit, that posting a story feels all new and shiny, even though things have changed since I was last a member. Looks as if a lot of people whom I used to read have moved on to bigger and better things, which is good (undeniably good!), but somewhat bittersweet, as I enjoyed reading their stuff and I miss them. Or maybe I just have a tendency to wallow in nostalgia a bit too much ;-)

Anyway, now I can go on to revising Storm Clouds. K, being the good friend she is, helped me out by giving me a deadline (Feb. 1), so I'm going to try to do all the changes by then and hopefully get this TOR situation straightened up, too. What I'm hoping is that going back to the old novel will stimulate my thinking on book 2.

Had a dream last night about two of the characters from book 2, and woke up grinning. I love dreaming about my characters (or about my friends' characters), and it's been a while. So that helped.

And now I am going to go back to work, because Ethan is sleeping and the other two are at a birthday party with their dad, and I have a chance to get some work done :-).
