Merry Christmas, Dinosaurs

Christmas here is almost done. The wrapping paper explosion has been cleaned up, and for the most part all the presents are arranged neatly under the tree again. Christmas dinner -- a low key meal of ham, scalloped corn, green beans, and grapes, as it was just us -- has been eaten, the dishes rinsed and loaded into the dishwasher. Two of the new DVDs have been watched -- BBC's Chased by Dinosaurs was a big hit, and I got my very own copy of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, which Andy saw for the first time tonight. (I saw it for the first time a couple of years ago, on a plane to Worldcon in San Jose.) Most of the chocolate in the stockings has been devoured, and now it is time for several rather sticky children to go to bed. And then it will be time for a slightly less sticky mother to go to bed, too.

Hope everyone who celebrates had a good holiday!
