Daily Photo Shoot - Day 22

The subject for the Daily Photo Shoot for Friday, 22 February 2013 is:

The Windows to the Soul

Yes, he does look a little scruffy around the edges. I know. We don't brush him as often as we should. I know, I know. But I wonder if he really wants to be brushed because every time I try to do the job, he yelps and squeals when I pull on his furs, especially those sensitive ones underneath...

So today it's all dogs, mainly the funny dog of the duo. Kip the King of Crow Cottage.

Playing? Let's play, he says...very emphatically...in no uncertain terms.

That was fun. Now can I get back to my show, Mr. Dog?

"The Awful Truth" with Cary Grant and Irene Dunn.

But I have to admit, even with these great old movies playing on the Classic Movie Channel, when my doggers come up to me and want to play (usually it's Kip more than Em, who is older and more civilized than the Boy Dog is), I can't resist and I end up missing most of the movie. Oh well. There's always tomorrow..

But you know? It's the eyes that I love, up close and personal. It's always that glimpse into the soul of a being through the eyes that is so mesmerizing to me.

The End.
