Your Sweet, Sweet Love Won't Save Me Now...

The Jodi Arias Trial for the murder/killing of Travis Alexander is coming to its end very soon. Today and tomorrow closing arguments by the two sides will take place. We are just minutes away, in fact, from the Jury Instructions which are given by the Judge to the Jury. The tension is mounting, and I am here for the duration. I just hope the Jury gets it right in the end.

A song that is on the "Wreck & Ruin" album by Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson, called "Your Sweet Love" is one of my favorites on that album. I listen to this album every night while trying to get to sleep. Every night. And when I hear this song, I always think of Jodi Arias, as if she were singing it to her now-dead ex-boyfriend, Travis, whom she brutally murdered in 2008.

The time has almost come for justice to be served.

Click to listen to this haunting song, especially in light of this particular trial:

"YOUR SWEET LOVE"

Save me,
Your sweet, sweet love won't save me now
Save me,
Your sweet, sweet love won't save me now.

I've been out at the edge of the world,
Close to the other side.
I've been 'cross every desert and back,
I ain't found no place to hide.

Save me,
Your sweet, sweet love won't save me now.

I've been at every window and door,
Sailed every ocean wide.
I've been from east to west, back again,
I ain't found no place to hide.

Save me,
Your sweet, sweet love won't save me now.
Save me,
Your sweet, sweet love won't save me now.
Save me,
Your sweet, sweet love won't save me now.

[from Kasey Chambers' & Shane Nicholson's "Your Sweet Love"]

In hopes that Good will prevail over evil,

Bex
