Snake Eyes 4 U

Sometimes a song is better than a bunch of words. This is from the new album by The Milk Carton Kids (The Ash & Clay album) and it's called "Snake Eyes":

"Snake Eyes"

(Sung by The Milk Carton Kids)

Swing low, swing low
For to carry me home
In fire the skies of red.

My breath's gone cold
A kiss from the coal
A blanket of snow overhead.

Slow, holy roller
It's just rock and roll.

Hold your tears
Where they've hung all these years
Down from the heavens above.

Old snake eyes
You had better disguise
All that appears of thee.

Pray for love
From the heavens above
Laid in the ashes below
Laid in the ashes below
Laid in the ashes below
Laid in the ashes below.

This is THE song that I stumbled upon the other night on late night radio - it hooked me in right away and held me mesmerized for its entirety. It got me up out of my bed, after it had ended and I had ascertained the names of these angelic voices, and over to my then-asleep-computer to order some of this beautiful music for myself. Love, love, love these guys. Hope you enjoy!

Cheers,
