The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Car breakdown and stuttering

My brother 6 of 12, the music nut, used to be a radio announcer. He ended up falling out of the field because of a few stupid mistakes he made. We were talking about it last night and he said that when things started crashing he found himself stuttering on the air. It was something he had a problem with when he was five or six, but it had never resurfaced until the stress got really bad at his job. It was interesting though, he said that a lot the reason he found himself stuttering was because he had so much to stay that he couldn't figure out where to start. He was probably never suited to work in radio anyway. He said it was very lonely job. He's better off in a position where he works more directly with people.

I am very tired today. I don't like trying two cases when I haven't gotten enough sleep. The concert let out about an hour later than I thought it would, and then I got a flat tire on the way home that added an extra half hour to the trip. Not bad as flats go, but we were on the side of the road on a major interstate, and cars going sixty miles an hour were passing within inches of us in the dark as we changed the tire. So I had to shell out $80.00 today for a new tire.

So anyway, the tired way I'm feeling right now and the $80.00 are the straws on my back that are telling me it not worth a trip out to Boston to check out this Worldcon thing this weekend. I was impulsively thinking of going because it sounded fairly interesting, but I'm too freckin tired to make the drive. My brother 12 of 12 is coming in anyway, and I haven't seen him since Christmas.
