The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Quick update b4 work

Although it doesn't officially arrive until this Tuesday, winter unofficially showed up here on Thursday. The snow came down, and it had that feel like it was there to stay. Bit later than usual, but then we've had a few non-white Christmases.

Friday, we had our annual Christmas party. I don't enjoy parties, but I figured I ought to do some of that networking stuff. I talked with a few people, enjoyed my meal, and got out as soon as it was socially acceptable. On the way home I managed to fit in a sidetrip to watch my daughter horseback riding.

Saturday, I spent the day with my girlfriend. She's the second really thin woman I've dated, and both have had stomach problems. My current girlfriend's stomach is really, really bad. We went out to dinner, and it started acting up on her right before we began to eat. She excused herself and went to the bathroom to vomit. Then she sat down and ate, acting like it was no big deal . Her daughter has the same problem.

On Sunday, I managed to poke myself in the eye cutting the Christmas tree for my mother. As I've mentioned before, I live right next to a Christmas tree farm, so I pay the guy and cut my own. Somehow, when I was getting the saw in under the bottom, I managed to stick myself with a branch. Then I got to drive with one eye half functioning thirty miles through a heavy snowfall. My eye still hurts today, and the more I rub it the worse it seems to want to be rubbed. It'll probably be an annoyance for the next week or so.

Oh well, back to work. Should be a fairly slow week, with only one very brief fact finding hearing and a couple of court appearances.
