The last time I checked the calendar, it was still November (and I know that for sure, because Beckham is still in his black and white contemplative pose).

... and the Halloween candy is still taking up more room than the real food, in the fridge...

...heck, it was only yesterday that I put the pumpkin out for the garbage truck - though granted, my fingers DID go right through it!

I swear there is a huge - slowly revolving - warehouse, somewere in the heart of America, which automatically offloads the NEXT batch of 'stuff' onto the back of a million waiting semis...
...just in time to synchronize sweetly, with the passing of each holiday.

The cynic in me scoffs at the marketing tactics of the department stores, who think that, just by playing "Walking in a Winter Wonderland", they will distract me from the task at hand...which is, of course

Christmas Shopping!?!
