I'm having a hard time reading bedtime stories, to the kids, at the moment.

It's certainly not helped by the fact that they are finding excuses to stay up later and later in the evening.

"Awww come on Mum, just TWO pages??..ONE page then??
Two WORDS then??"

Umm okay. GOOD NIGHT!!.

BUT it's not just about the timing, it's the books they are choosing....DULL. DULL. DULL!!

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE to read to them and have no doubts at all, about the benefits to their own reading skills.

I just want more Harry Potter and some Lord of the Rings.

Some action. Some fantasy. Some fun!


And by the way...If you did Give a Pig a Pancake...wouldn't it just be very disappointed?
