Hey Everyone
I am SOOO pissed. I went to thehospital today 2 get my checkup to see if i was ok for surgury on my arm. I had a 1pm appt & went to the 5th floor where i usually go , i sign in AT NOON. The guy checks me in & tells me 2 sit on the chairs. Then this girl tells me that the drs dont come in until 1pm & by the time they go through the charts they dont start callin people until 115 130. Im sittin & now its like 3pm & im STILL not called & i see that they are callin people that came in AFTER me. I go in the back 2 see whats goin on why r they callin people that came in AFTER me. They tell me OH WE CANT FIND YOUR XRAY OR YOUR CHART GO BACK OUT INTO THE WAITING ROOM. Now you can see the steam comming out of my ears. I go back in at 330 to see whats goin on THEY TELL ME OH YEAH U WERE SUPPOSED 2 GO DOWN 2 THE 2ND FLOOR 3 HOURS AGO!!! NOBODY TOLD ME ANYTHING!!! . That totally sucked.
So anyways, I went down to the 2nd floor & told the nurse what happened , she was like r u kiddin me & she said 2 complain 2 the head nurse. I complained 2 the head nurse 4 times. So the dr called me IN NO JOKE, 5 MINUTES!!=). I went back 2 the 5th floor after 2 bring my chart up 2 the nurse & i went STRAIGHT back & i was on my way home in 5 minutes.
My checkup was fine & im all set up for surgury on June 8th. I just have to go back June 1st to go through pretesting & to meet with the anasteseologist.
