Hey everyone
Yesterday was my 29th birthday =)It was kinda cool, i just hung out & relaxed. Mom & dad bought me a new cd player cause my old one was being held togethr by duct tape,Donna gave me a card with $20 in it, Brian bought me a new wallet, John, Katie & Molly sent me a card & called me. Rob called also =)
Last night I went over to Brians house, his family had a party all set for me =) It was so great , Brians sister baked a birthday cake for me & Brians mom cooked dinner. She knows that i LOVE shrimp, so she made shrimp & crablegs =)
After dinner me & Brian had some alone time, he took me out to this really nice resturant that I love =)We got there & it was totally empty. Brian told the waiteress it was my birthday so my cake came out with a candle in it & she took a picture =)
On Sunday me & my family are goin out for my birthday dinner at a resturant=)

Halloween Parade in Greenich Villiage

Hey Everyone
I know i havent wrote in a while but now i have a chance to. Last night me & Brian walked in the NYC Village Halloween Parade=). It was kinda cool cause this was the 1st year we have walked in it. We saw some really freaky costumes that made our costumes look dull & boring. I was a Vampire & Brian was this Skeletal Demon, really cool lookin.
There were some crazy costumes also,just to name a few someone dressed up as an IPHONE, I saw people dressed up as Lego People, ok now im gonna really show my age, I saw some people they dressed up as the Pac-Man Ghosts(Pinky, Blinky, & Inky)thats frightening i remeber the names of them LOL. I saw someone dress up as a pack of condoms. There was this one guy that came bare ass naked with a tutu. There was also Edward Scissorhands.
We met up with some friends in the parade & after the parade we went out for some drinks. So now every year we are gonna go & walk in the parade =)
Ok im gonna go now but I will write soon =)

Tornado!!

Hey Everyone
If you guys havent already seen it on the news an F2 Tornado came through my neighborhood Wednsday morning about 630
in the morning. It was kinda weird cause a tornado NEVER touches down in the middle of brooklyn.
An F2 tornado blows 111-135 mph, And it ripped past Brians house by a block. The tornado has ripped off a good half a dozen roofs completely. I walked around to see what damage it has done, i almost cryed. 200 year old trees were snapped out of the ground like toothpicks. Church windows are totally smashed in, 1 lady got killed cause a tree branch ripped through her. There was this eeerie quiet around where the houses wre ripped apart.
I saw flood waters going half way up a Mack Truck. People were walking in water knee high.
The buses & trains came to a complete standstill. a ride that usually takes 20 minutes on the train turned into a 3 hour ride. waiting for busses wasnt fun either, 100 degrees, 20 people at every stop cause the buses were rerouted & every bus was packed.
It touched down in Bay Ridge( where I live) and it died all the way out near JFK airport in Queens.

Paycheck mixup

Hey everyone
Im kinda pissed that my payroll secretary screwed my paycheck up =( Friday iwas supposed to get payed but she comes to me saying oh i forgot to do my job and put the paychecks in on the right day and now i have to wait until the 29th to get paid =( Monday i now have to go downtown back to school fill out an EMERGENCY paycheck form , hunt down the principal so she can sign it, then go down to the board of ed headquarters to pick up my emergency check.=(
Im also kinda pissed that the school cut my time short, i was supposed to work until the end of the school year ( june 27th) but the payroll secretary dont know her ass from her elbow & she gave me 3 different stories in 1 weeks sayin oh your last day is the 27th, the next day she comes 2 me sayin oh your last day is friday the 15th then she comes 2 me again sayin the 27th & then she comes 2 me & says sorry we cant afford to pay you till the end of the year we havwe to cut your time short your last day is the 15th =(

Hey everyone
The other day the Board of Education moved me from Region 6 to Region 8 =) I needed to get out of Region 6 on grounds of it was way to far away & a hell of a commute & plus i was being sent into the really crappy part of town where i ran the risk of being SHOT!!. So i said the hell with this im gonna call & ask to be moved closer .
Region 8 is litterally 10 minutes from my house , some schools i can even walk to =) Plus an even bigger bonus i will be home a hell of a lot earlier =) So i did my little Region 8 dance around the house =)
I will post more about Region 8 soon , but for right now i gotta run.

The Bronx Zoo

Hey Everyone
Today me & Brian went to the Bronx Zoo =)It was fun, but its a LOT of walkin around. We got to the zoo about 1030 am & we left at 330pm.
I dont think I would ever be saying this but today I rode a CAMEL!!! Damm they smell LOL. Brian took my picture riding the camel. The camel didnt want to walk at all plus he looked goofy lookin. I want to see the pictures when they come out of my camera.
All the baby animals were born so we got to see all the baby animals =) They are SOOOO cute =) But some of the things were BEYOND lame. The tiger pavillon had 1 TIGER & THATS IT & HE WAS SLEEPING!!! The lion was the same way 1 lion & he was sleeping.
We saw the monkeys & the birds they were cool. We weere gonna go see the penguins but the penguin section was under construction. =(
Today we heard this lady say the most RETARDED thing I ever heard. WE ARE IN A ZOO this lady looked into where the animals were & in a shocked voice said WOW THERE R ANIMALS HERE!!! DUH!! YOU R IN A ZOO GENIUS!! =) LOL

Hey Everyone
About 3 weeks ago i started on the Weight Watchers diet. Im not gonna say how much i started out with but i will say I LOST 5 POUNDS!!! =) Im on the points system u get a certian amount of points per day & now with this 5 pound loss IM IN A WHOLE NEW POINT BRACKET!! =)
Im keeping a weight watchers notebook to track my points per day and its been good so far. Out of the 3 weeks i only went over my point range once but only by a few points=)
If mother nature ever decides 2 look at the calander and figure out that its spring & not winter , i can go out for walks without freezin my ass off. I also ordered for myself a stair stepper so i can do it when its freezing out.

Today I won 2 tickets to see Legally Blond on Broadway =) It was a total suprise to me. They left a message on my answering mashine that said that my name was picked out of the bucket & i won the tickets=) I have to pick them up tomorrow & the show is for Thursday night at 8 =) YAAAAYY !!! =)

Going on a diet

hey everyone
I havent been feelin good lately,so I went to the doctors. The doctor told me that i have to go to Weight Watchers & lose weight. He said that my heart is beating kinda fast & if i dont lose weight it can lead to a heart attack. I was calling all of theses weight loss places & out of all of them that i called Weight Watchers sounded the best. The other ones that i called they sounded way to pushy for me to come in for a consultation.
Brian & I are gonna go on this diet together cause he wants to lose some weight also. The cool part is that he already has the Weight Watchers point book & the kit that they give you at the weight watchers place. Now we dont have to spend all the money & go to embarrassing meetings every week. I was looking through the point book tonight & i can have anything i want thats in my point range =)
Ok everyone i gotta run right now, ill update soon on how my progress is going. Im gonna keep a diet diary =)

My day at the M&Ms Store in Time Square

Hey everyone
Today me and Brian(my boyfriend)went to the new
M&Ms store that just opened up in Times Square. That place is totally awsome. It has 3 floors of all M&Ms stuff. We picked up a sippy cup for my new nephew Gabriel & its sparkley & he can learn his colors =). We also picked up a pack of M&Ms playing cards =)
This is my 2nd time going there. The 1st time was cool cause i took a picture with the dancing M&M guy =)What is also cool is that they r open every night until midnight =)

I colored my hair today

hey everyone
I colored my hair today. it was kinda scary cause this is the 1st time im using the box instead of the salon. My girlfriend helped me color my hair cause she knows what to do better then i do.
When everything was dyed i looked in the mirror i litterally screamed cause i was going for a reddish brown,i looked in the mirror it was not even close it was like CIRCUS CLOWN RED!!!
Its setting in now & now it looks somewhat normal but still isnt what i thought it would be from the box but i can live with it for now.

Hey everyone
My new nephew Gabriel came to NY to visit for his 1st birthday. HE IS SOO CUTE =)
1st night we went out with the family to a nice restraunt but he was getting fussy so we had to cut the dinner short. but it was fun. the 2nd day my brother & sis in law came over to the house with my nephew & we played with him all day. Then he took a nap for a few hours. When he woke up we had his 1st birthday cake =)

Hey everyone,
This weather totally sucks, mother nature has to make up her mind & get the seasons right. Its from hot to cold cold to hot , snowy, rainy ect. Right now im lookin to see if they decided to close the schools tomorrow because of the weather. Last i heard, we were gonna get 3-8 inches of snow then it will turn into freezing rain then back to snow. other parts of the state are getting over a foot.
