So often we (meaning I) think the ways of the world are inconsiderate, but yet I think I've been cruel to the world.

These broken noses, all night Goth binges, and shady dealings with the Canadians must be counted against me somewhere I suppose. China? Baku? I know there's an asssasin out there somewhere, waiting.

There are people in my class of diplomats-at-large whom I wouldn't trust with tying shoelaces without vomitting.
