Things I love...(idea stolen from RM)

* I love the fact that Christmas comes early at this SLAC campus. The students will be gone by the 13th, so all our festivities must be held before then. Our tree is already up, and some of our gifts are even bought! BUT, it is hard to dwell in the anxiety of finals/end of the year reports and also keep one's holiday cheer.

* I love that A. has begun to attempt almost any word we say. His newest is "Nasty" (I cannot even describe how he says it, but it is quite hysterical) - I said this word when I was changing his diaper that was quite bad and smelly. It is also used when he puts rocks and other such things in his mouth. Last night he ran around saying, "Nasty! Nasty! Nasty!"

* Another laundry experience - A. was on our bed and had taken some of my underwear out of the basket and was putting it on his head. I think this is a foreshadowing - anyone remember "Weird Science?"

* A. has begun giving hugs and kisses. The best.

* W. and I may have a tenant in one of the houses we own, and the tenant in our other house has decided to stay. Joy! Income!!!

* W. and I survived Thanksgiving and have begun to reconnect as we often do when he's home for a while.

* My sister and neice making a surprise visit on the Saturday after Thanksgiving!

* "Night Visions" - an Advent/Christmas/Epiphany book RM gave me last year for Christmas.

* Kinky Freidman running for governor. Even if he doesn't win, what a wonderful time to be alive to see him try!

What would you add to the list?
