When I got home this afternoon, and got the mail, there was a copy of the school district's '05-'06 calendar in the box. Usually I stick something like that in the junk drawer. But for some reason I decided to flip through this one.

To my surprise, the Wonder Girl is the featured artist this year! Her art is on several of the calendar "months". Other than her being chosen to do the cover for the 8th grade Promotion program, I had no idea that people at the school knew how talented she is. (Although we've known all along, of course!) This is a district-wide calendar, so they chose from grades 1-12, so this is really cool! Not bad for the new kid!

She still amazes me...
