To whom it may concern.

Why, yes, you are absolutely right. My agreeing to give up my entire Sunday afternoons (my only time with my family) for the next few months to spend them with your children in a confirmation class was entirely a plot to complicate your life by forcing you to come back from your Weekend Home a few hours earlier than you are used to. Just be glad I didn't ask them to be there for Sunday mornings...I mean, I'm vicious but I'm not cruel.

And yes, asking them to travel to Nearby Flat State for a weekend Confirmation Retreat without having a representative of said retreat at yesterday's meeting available for grilling, er... questioning so that you could be absolutely sure that little Bentleigh and Snotleigh "won't have to do anything academic" at the retreat, (I mean, of course you're right---its the weekend after all...)well, that was just wrong of me.

And aren't you clever that right after the meeting three of you circled me in the stairwell so that you could cluster...I mean confront me without any of your kids or friends seeing it. Why should I get special treatment? Who do I think I am?
