For me, driving is all of those things. Usually I only do it because I have to, occasionally because I want to, and often feel guilt about the impact on the environment.

I commute about 20 minutes. When I lived in CA, I commuted an hour through wine country. I didn't mind that at all.

Bonus for the brutally honest: It has been said, and the MythBusters have confirmed, that cell phones can impede driving ability almost as much as drinking. Do you talk on a cell phone while driving?
I don't answer my phone while driving. I pull over and return the call if necessary. I call home to let Wondergirl know I'm on my way home as I leave the church parking lot. Does that count?
