I've decided some higher power just does not want me to sleep. I went to bed an hour earlier than usual because I was really tired and spent the next three hours listening to the ferrets (there are four) wrestling and making clicky noises with their water bottle.

When I did sleep I had a nightmare. That hasn't happened in awhile, and I can hope it doesn't again. Aside from that my husband was tossing and turning and one of the cats (there are three) was meowing under the bedroom door all night. Sigh...the joys of pet owners. Still I wouldn't give them up for anything.

So I still have to prepare for my presentation. Class is at three. That should give me time. I hope.

I'm dealing with the whole end-of-semester burn out thing, and I really have to get over it if I want to keep my grades up. I just keep telling myself that it's almost over. At least for now.

Okay, so I'm incredibly whiny and gloomy this morning. I need to work on that. And my presentation. Let us not forget that.
