Rodent Ramblings You Don't Want to Ask. Really. 52088 Curiosities served |
2002-11-22 11:53 AM Flower Petal Parade Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Selfish Read/Post Comments (0) Other than pining for selfish desires I could never have, like a Miata, not a whole lot is going on here. I have no classes on Fridays (Woo Hoo!) and the pets are relatively content at the moment. Oh! Have I introduced the pets? There are the moppets, also known as ferrets, Kiki (read Sluggy), Whisper, Tempest, and the face-licking wonder of a three pound ferret, Vinnie. Then there are the cats, all sixteen to seventeen pound part Maine Coons, Sylvestor Jr. (He's named after his mom which is why these cats exist at all. I got them from my mom and they are litter mates that have never been apart.), Fuzzball, and Seaeti (pronounced c-a-t, but we call her Sadie). I also used to breed sugar gliders, but I had to give that up. Too much heartbreak involved. Beyond that there is Brian, my husband, but whether he's my pet or I'm his is still under debate. Speaking of Brian, his mom is coming to visit Sunday and I am hideously excited to see her again. I adore my mother-in-law. I wish this visit was under better circumstances though. She's going through a hard time right now. Anyway, the house is currently a disaster and I really need to get it in order before she arrives. I've been using the guest room as a place to do jigsaw puzzles since the cats aren't allowed in there, and now I have to turn it back into a guest room. Well, Nancy's worth it. ************************************************* This has definitely been what is called 'one of those days'. I had horrible nightmares last night, followed by napping far too much today and getting nothing at all, well less than I wanted anyway, done. Plus, I broke my hubby's car. Again. Last time it wasn't my fault. Someone ran me off the road. This time I lost a spacial relations argument with the garage. Mea culpa there. Definitely. That is the third time the car's been to the shop (the first was to unjam a cd in the cd player) since we got it in August is somewhat disturbing. It will be fixed on Tuesday. It's not really a big problem. I knocked the side mirror off the passenger side. The shop said it would be an easy, and more important to me since I have to pay for it, cheap fix. Here's hoping they're right. Other than that not much to report. I got some grocery shopping done and managed to wiggle out barely of seeing the new James Bond movie. *shudder*. I did see the new Harry Potter movie though. Gotta say it was pretty phenomenal. I won't say more just in case anyone is reading this and wants to see it. But it was really good.
