So I waited all of yesterday for the campus bookstore manager to call me, only to be told when I called today that all the jobs were filled. Sigh...I guess I'm going to have to apply to the dining halls or look for something off-campus. I really should get on that today, but it's snowing like crazy and really, really cold.

In other news, I still haven't heard back on my story that I submitted, but that's not unexpected. It hasn't been that long. Between that and waiting to hear about Clarion though I think I'm going to explode. Patience has never been a virtue of mine.

At least I'm feeling better today. I have a cold, but I always have a cold in the winter. I got a little bit of writing done yesterday. Note little is the operative word there, but at least it was something. I think I am going to have to just lock me and my laptop in a room with no distractions. I wonder if that's even possible.

Oh well....

Not much else to report. Life here is pretty uneventful, which I've got to say isn't necessarily a bad thing. So, I'll enjoy it while I can.

Classes start Monday.

Grr...I'm having a really frustrating version of writer's block. I want to write. I'm excited to write. I sit down to write. And my brain shuts off. Nothing comes to mind to type. I mean I have ideas, a whole notebook of ideas, but the words just fly out the window when I get started. Argh. I hate this!
