I forgot to mention that over the weekend Brian and I went to a sneak preview How to Lose a Guy in 10 days. It was really funny. Now granted it's not going to be an Oscar winning movie, but it's a romantic comedy and for what it is it's tremendously good. It also has the only romantic use of the word bullshit I have ever seen.

In other news, I am trying, with the help of another graduate student named Kevin, to get a writer's group for fantasy and science fiction writers going on campus. I've found two people, one of which is Kyle. Now I need to pin Kevin down and actually set a time and place for it.

Classes are going okay. I like my YA Lit class and Creative Writing for Teachers, but Women and Film is very much a ho hum and I think I actively dislike Studies in American Lit Before 1870. This is partly because so far it's almost a political science class. We are studying the literature to explore liberal pluralism and discoursive democracy. Sigh.

Kyle will be leaving the D & D game in the near future so I have to figure out if I'm going to keep it going or not. It will mostly depend on Brian and John, I guess.

I think that sums up most of what is going on around here. Now I have to plow through some more reading.
