So, it has been forever and a day since I updated this journal. I apologize about that to those reading. Life sort of got a way with me for a bit.

Ojiepat was visiting us for a week. That absolutely rocked. We played lots of games, and watched anime, and all sorts of fun stuff.

On the down side our cats, which Pat spoiled mercilessly, are completely despondent. Fuzzball has taken to camping outside the guest room.

Speaking of pets, the blood work on our sick ferrets finally came through. They're going to be okay. The medicine is doing what it's suppose to, but the steroid is also causing weight loss, so I have to supplement their diet with canned kitten food. It figures this would be the case with our two picky eaters. But, hey, their relatively okay, so I'll deal.

My mom has to go to the hospital tomorrow. There's apparently a problem with her blood pressure. I'm hoping everything will be okay, and that she's doing exactly what the doctor says. I worry.

I love you, Mom. Take care of yourself, please.

So, I dropped my Women and Film class. I really wasn't enjoying it, and it was a lot of work that I just wasn't interested in. It felt like busy work, like the teacher was trying to prove that film classes weren't easy by piling work on that we rarely even discussed. It just wasn't worth it.

Other than hanging out with Pat, school work, and puzzles, I haven't been up to much. I'm going to see if maybe the Burger King is hiring, or maybe go back to Taco Bell. Not my first choice of employment, but, at this point I can't be too picky. And at least it's work I know I can do.
