Charles, thanks for your note. Glad I could help!

So, it's getting near time to register for classes, and I still have no idea how the credits for the thesis work. I'd like to take it as three credits for two semesters, but I'm not sure I can. I may have to take all six all at once. I'll need to talk to my director about it, but that means getting the revisions on the proposal done, and that's proving more difficult than I anticipated. Sigh...

In other news I got a rejection email from Strange Horizons for "The Price of Heaven". I think that story is almost officially dead. I might submit it to the Writers of the Future Contest. Nothing ventured, right?

My death story is coming along well. It's in its final revisions I think. Then I'm going to ship it off. Now, I just need to get started on something new.

Unfortunately, no ideas have really gripped my imagination. This is particularly bad since Kevin wants our submissions for his anthology by the beginning of May.

I'm not sure how I feel about that idea. Kevin's very generous to offer to pay to self-publish all our work (the writing group), but I wonder if I shouldn't save the stories and try to get them into professional markets. Still, it's a guaranteed publishing credit, so I almost feel like I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth here.

Well, for it to be an issue I have to actually write something to submit. I know I want to send the death story off to Asimov's and a few other places first. it's my baby and I'd really like to get it a good home.

Other than that stuff and a lot of school work things here are pretty much the same as the last time I wrote.

Still no word from Clarion.

Well, I have to get to class. Bye, all!
