It's done, the paper from hell is finished and turned in. Seventeen pages on Emerson, Poe, and America's development of a national identity.

It's a pretty crappy paper, and it's seventy percent of my grade in the class. And I just don't care anymore. It's written, I don't have to think about it, and my semester is finished.

Now I can relax, kick back, and read the books by my Clarion instructors. I've finished one, THINK LIKE A DINOSAUR by James Patrick Kelly. It was really very good and I find I like Kelly's style quite a bit.

TERMINAL VISIONS, which I'm in the middle of is also good so far. Lets hope this is the beginning of a trend.

And then in 23 days (counting this one) I leave for Clarion. In between that I get to help Nancy unpack and visit Pat (and the Boston aquarium--I love that place), and finish packing and shipping stuff.

And I have to spend time with Brian. That's very important.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Clarion, but I am getting nervous. I've never been one to write on demand, and now I'm going to have to be. And it could really suck, I could really suck.

Still, it will be good for me. I'm going to meet a bunch that so far (there have been emails and such) seem like some of the nicest, funniest people ever, I'm going to spend six weeks focusing on this thing I want to do for the rest of my life, and I'm going to learn. What could be better?

Well, I am now going to turn my brain off for a few hours and then there is a Babylon 5 marathon planned since we finally got the second season dvd set. Bye for now, all!
