So far, 2004 has been the Year of the Gnostic for me. In addition to the stuff touching on Gnosticism is the novel I'm reading right now (Wilton Barnhardt's phenomenal Gospel), Gwenda sent me a Salon review of a recent compilation of Gnostic texts. Now my old Clarion West pal Robert Guffey has sent a link to his latest article for Paranoia Magazine, an interview with Dr. Stephen A. Hoeller, who serves "as the Bishop of Ecclesia Gnostica, the first Gnostic Church in America." We also watched Screamers the other night. I leave you to draw your own conclusions.
