As I mentioned earlier, my "novelette," The Voluntary State has been selected for inclusion in a couple of very cool anthologies.

And cool cool, the hits keep coming. A couple of weeks ago I learned that Jack Dann and Gardner Dozois will be reprinting that story in an upcoming book tentatively titled Singularities (not, as a certain Ms. Link would have it, Singularicats!).

That was more than enough, but today, I learned that the story will also be collected in Dozois' The Year's Best Science Fiction, 22nd Annual Collection. Needless to say, since I've wanted to have a story in that series since I was fourteen years old, I'm deliriously happy.
