2006-03-11 11:14 AM I don't need a blog. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Read/Post Comments (1) As if I don't have enough to do already. Starting a blog. What's wrong with me?
But blogs are all the rage these days, and I have so many online outlets, spread far and wide, I'm hoping this will bring everything together - so I can then work to separate them again. So. About the links included on this page - those things I'm bringing together to cover here on a regular basis: Impecunious Impressions - This is my online store, a hobby more than anything else. I saw someone else who had a store at cafepress representing Gilmer County, and thought I could do the same thing, and thus, it has grown from there. Basically, it features my thoughts, art, graphics, etc. on t-shirts, hats, bags, stickers, mousepads, coffee cups and more. Themes include Calhoun and Gilmer County, Red Neck Fun, Country Wit and Wisdom, Butterflies and Mandalas and Script Art. The Calhoun Chronicle - If I say "this is where I work," you might be given the impression that I report to a specific location for a specific set of regular hours each day. However, as a reporter, I'm here and there, depending on the schedule of events for the whole Calhoun County community. This link is to our online version, which includes my weekly column, Reporter's Reflections (and more). It is updated every Wednesday afternoon. Encounter Calhoun County - Technically, this site hasn't even launched yet. it is the companion site to a print publication - the first ever recreation and tourism piece created for Calhoun County. My pet project, I'm very proud of it - even though I haven't seen it yet. We're picking it up from the printer's on Tuesday. Calhoun County Geocaching - Some of these I've hidden, some not. I did however, design the web site, and hope to hide at least two more Caches this summer. Down on the Farm - This is our web site for here at the house - it's been maintained (or not) off and on for about six years, but I really haven't gotten in polished off yet. This is where I try to post the photos from our trips, vacations, work, etc. So. The Blog Begins. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
