Well, I'm half packed for the upcoming weekend with the girls, and have set 11 a.m. Thursday as official launch time for Butterfly Camp.

Cousin Erin decided to return to join us, and I can't wait for all of us to get together!

Erin is a pupae, a "newbie" to B Camp. On Thursday, she and I (The Camp General) will travel to the Camp Artist's vacant house, and will be joined by another pupae and the Camp Scholar by the end of the day.

Friday, the Camp Reporter and her pupae will join us, as will the Camp Lifeguard, and at least three visiting pupae. We'll all walk to the Camp Activist's house for Butterfly Basket Weaving Day. We haven't yet heard from The Camp Naturalist, but the Camp Jewel is scheduled to arrive on Friday, as is the Camp Listener.

Saturday we'll all be together, crafting and chatting and hanging out - the ultimate slumber party.

I have all the paper plates, cups, napkins, gift bags, paint, scissors, glue, visors, glitter, beads, packed and ready.

I have tomato juice, celery, celery salt and worchestershire. I have clothes mostly packed. Last year I forgot to pack shirts, and spent four days in my bathing suit top.

I don't want to do that again.
