10 things I love about Rose

I'm seeing friends I haven't seen in awhile, and they say How're things with Rose? What's up Rose? Isn't four amazing? And I don't know if it's my ward against the evil eye or I'm just a dwell on the negative kind of gal, but I'm quite prepared to talk about whining and temper tantrums, but I don't have a top ten ready. So for the next person who asks:

1. Yesterday she said, "Mommy, I know why you have a big pile of clothes by your bed. It's because you are too tired to put them away."

2. She and I made fimo clay beads together. She took my advice on how big to make them. We complimented each other on our color choices.

3. After she and John cooked chocolate chip muffins, she decided to do her own cooking. She measured rice, water, hot pepper flakes, oregeno, and baking powder. She stirred it with a whisk. Then she had me cook it on the stove.

4. She just learned about Santa Claus, and she's completely fascinated.

5. As we read the Madeline books, she asked me to define 10 different words.

6. In a story where the main character died, she said, "No she didn't die. She's right there in the picture."

7. She told me that her friend in school saw a ghost in the loft, really truly, I’m not teasing. I'm not joking.

8. She told me the ghosts didn't want to live in the same house that I built for the monsters. They don't like rainbow. They want their own black house.

9. She now takes baths all by herself.

10. She whispered in my ear, "I love you unconditionally."
