David and I are sitting on the couch reading a story. We hear John coming up the stairs. He runs to the door, “Maimy! Maimy!”

David is in the stroller. He wants me to throw away his bar wrapper, “Maimy! Maimy!”

We’ve just finished nursing. I carry David out into the hall where he spots John, “Maimy! Maimy!”

John has a bag of chips open. David is stretching out his arm, “Maimy! Maimy!”

“Bring this to Maimy,” John says. “The other Maimy.”

David has two maimies.
