Welcome to the 2008 edition of getting to know your Friends.

1. What time did you get up this morning? Uggh! David woke at 4:00. John took the gig but couldn't get him back down, so yeah, I was awake 4-5, on duty 5-7, and then got rest time but couldn't fall back asleep.
2. Diamonds or pearls? Pearls are my birth stone, diamonds are pretty. Nope, can't decide.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? The last Harry Potter at the Imax.
4. What is your favorite TV show? The Daily Show though since the writer's strike, it's not so good.
5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Oatmeal. Same as Deirdre.
6. What is your middle name? Don't have one.
7. What food do you dislike? Liver.
8. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Amy Winehouse "Back to Black." Thank you Scout for that introduction.
9. What kind of car do you drive? Prius and a mini-van, and yes, that does tell you a lot about me.
10. What is your favorite item of clothing? My stretchy jeans. They fit, they really fit.
11. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation: Paris.
12. What color is your bathroom? Blue and white.
13. Favorite brand of clothing? I don't really have one. Macy's petite seem to fit most often.
14. Where would you retire to? Here.
15. What was your most recent memorable birthday? Yo! My fabulous 41st dance party.
16. Favorite sport(s) to watch? Nothing's really coming to mind.
17. Furthest place you are sending this? No idea.
18. Who do you least expect to send this back to you? Not really relevant since I'm sending it to just Deirdre, and oh yeah, the world.
19. Person you expect to send it back first? Scout.
20. Favorite saying? Groovy.

22. Are you a morning person or a night person? Morning.
23. What is your shoe size? 7ish. They keep growing.

26. What did you want to be when you were little? A writer and a teacher.

Thursday. That's the day John takes David and I get to write.

33. What are you listening to right now? David and Rose sleeping.
34. What was the last thing you ate? Hearts of palm.
35. Do you wish on stars? No.
36. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? purple
37. How is the weather right now? Too cold.
38. Last person you spoke to on the phone? The flood restoration people paying my bill.
39. Favorite soft drink? Diet vanilla coke
40. Favorite restaurant? I haven't gone out in so long I don't think I have one.
41. Hair color? Black.
42. Sibling(s)- Sister.
43. Favorite day of the year? My birthday.
44. What was your favorite toy as a child? Bear Bear who still sleeps in my bed.
45. Summer or winter? Probably summer, but the mild Seattle summers.
46. Hugs or kisses? Hugs.
47. Coffee or tea? Decaf tea.
48. Chocolate or Vanilla? Dark chocolate all day every day.
49. Do you want your friends to e-mail you this back? Only if the spirit moves them.
50. When was the last time you cried? I was just watching my horrible t.v. show "Dance wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann." They had a typically manipulative segment with a young woman afraid she couldn't do a good job and then she called and talked to her grandma. I cried just like they wanted me to.
51. Who is the friend you have had the longest? My sister.
52. What did you do last night? Had a phone meeting with my boss.
53. What are you afraid of? The kids choking.
54. Salty or sweet? Both.
55. How many keys on your key ring? House; Car.
56. How many years at your current job? almost 5 and a half.
57. How many towns have you lived in? Nine I think. That includes five states and two countries.
