A day I thought would never come.

David was standing around this morning and suddenly announced that he was peeing through his diaper. I said, "Well, go to the potty." So he hustled himself off, peed standing up, and then got the potty seat, sat down, and pooped. By this time Rose was around, and she kept him company. Daddy emerged in time to cheer too. Rose thought we needed to add a little operant conditioning to the package, so she got him a poker chip in honor of the occasion. I don't expect this to be a regular occurrence any time soon, but I love this reminder that things do change.
