David and I have been having a tough time the past few days. He's been climbing the walls. And I mean this literally. At the library, he was grabbing the counter edge and moving his feet up the wall. I've been yelling at him for standing on his chair, crashing into the couch, and the wall thing. At the library, I stopped yelling. I stopped refusing to lift him onto the counter. I stopped telling him just a minute. I crouched down next to him and gave him a big hug. It was a really nice melt into each other hug. Then we went to the kid's corner and read five books of his choosing, snuggled up the whole time.
