entropy boy splits the difference

David has a well deserved reputation around our house for hastening entropy. The box of trains dumped on the living room floor, the entire shelf of books spread across the coffee table, Batman standing right in the middle of the hallway, his ability to create a mess exceeds even my own. (Though he did tell me I needed to clean my room today.)

But today I'd say he came out even. On the down side, pens scattered across the t.v. room floor along with scraps of paper and scissors. On the plus side, he made chocolate chip oatmeal muffins with Daddy. Then he and I tackled the downstairs bathroom. He scrubbed the toilet, sink, and mopped half the floor. (I redid his jobs, and my own as well.) We got even more ambitious on the upstairs bathroom and decided to clean out the drawers. This involved taking every item out, inspecting it, using it if it was lotion, categorizing it, and eventually dust busting the drawer. We made it through one and a half drawers, left all the cleaning supplies in the hallway, but really, I'd say we came out even on the tidy scale.

Tomorrow, we are back at it.
