We should have noticed something when David didn't want dinner last night. But he was bouncing around the house and wanted dessert, so we didn't worry. From the first call in the middle of the night to the actual throwing up took about an hour and a half. Then we tried to resettle and got hit with the second attempt. Eventually, David refused to get into his bed (with or without us) or our bed. He decided to sleep on the floor. Ok. The at 5:45 he decided he wasn't sleepy anymore. I got him back to sleep just in time for him to pee through his jammies.

So, three of us didn't sleep much last night.

Today, I was all excited when he wanted a third cup of honey tea, until he threw it up. Am I forgetting to mention the caca that exploded onto the carpet? Poor, sick bunny.

Actually, he only has a low grade fever, we managed to get some food into him this afternoon, and he's been mostly sleeping or whining. We're pretty sure this is a "you should do a better job of washing your hands" lesson. Rose had a bout of this about the same age, and now, she is the best hand washer in the house. David has washed his hands without complaining three times today. I was starting to believe he was incapable of learning from experience (the constant bonks as he jumped off the couch my clue), but we have hope.
