David decided he wanted to take dance class just like his sister and cousins. But he wasn't ready yet. He just wanted to watch their class. So, for the last three weeks, David has been sitting on my lap for an hour watching kids skip with scarves, gallop, prance, and practice all sorts of cool dance concepts like energy, level change, and pace. They dance. He sits. This is a three year old boy with bounce off the wall energy who sits for an hour intently watching other kids move.

Today, we decided to check out the dance class he would actually be in, the one for his age level. I told him he could just watch if he wanted to, but I didn't mean it. I wanted him to dance. Yeah. When I couldn't entice him with the running around the room like Superman even though he happened to be wearing his Superman shirt and cape, I figured it was a lost cause. We'll keep watching his sister's class because why not, but if he's not going to dance in his class, I don't really want to make the trek over. We'll try it two more times, and then take a break.
