David and I have been having nap issues. He used to let me have 20-30 after lunch every day, but last Monday was really bad.

1:34 I settle David down in the kitchen with a cookie and the timer.

1:37 David yells up the stairs, comes charging into my room, and walks over me (on the bed). David: What time is 1, 3, 7? Mommy: 1:37

1:38 Repeat

1:39 Repeat

1:40 David turns on the bedside lamp. Mommy: Please turn that off. David turns the lamp so it shines full in Mommy's face. Mommy: Turn that off now!

1:41 David turns on the radio. Don't forget all this time he is walking back and forth on the bed inadvertently kicking Mommy.

1:42 David: Is your rest time over? Mommy: I don't know, go check the timer. David: The timer is downstairs. Mommy: Well, go downstairs and check it. David: Is your rest time over?

The next day was supposed to be a half hour straight while David got his t.v., but he picked a scary show and needed support.

Today was great from a naptime perspective. I lay down on the black couch and slept for 45 minutes. I lay down on the black couch because David was asleep on the white couch. David was asleep because he's sick. His tummy hurts, his head hurts, he's very sleepy. He might have a slight fever but nothing to get worked up about. He hasn't thrown up and was able to eat a reasonable amount for a sick person. He did sleep for two and a half hours. I napped, did the dishes, lifted weights, cleaned the bathroom, and was about to clean the dining room when he woke.

Even though I got a lot done, cleaning the bathroom is more interesting with him helping.
