We were only gone a week. A week! Suddenly, there are three new bills (and two old ones) to pay, poetry rejections to record, the lawn to mow, don't even get me started on the weeds, 56 emails to answer (this doesn't count the ones just chucked), 10 delicately worded announcements for one of my unpaying jobs, 15 lesson plans to devise, and new choreography to memorize. Oy!

And, I want to tell you about our fabulous Disney trip.

But first the new news--relatives came to town this week-end, and it was so much fun. My first cousin once removed let us inundate her with our small children. She's a twenty something. She and her brother are my only twenty something relatives, so I kept pumping her for info about her world. Tattoos! Grad school! Baseball games! Well, I go to baseball games too, but her mom's a fanatic, so I think she goes to a lot more than me. It was lovely to see her.

Then my aunt, uncle, their daughter, her wife, and their seven month old baby came to town too. The last time we saw my aunt and uncle was at the wedding last year. Too long. David had so much making paper airplanes, playing baseball, and just talking with Uncle Bob. Rose had so much fun playing twenty questions with Uncle Bob. (Are you sensing a theme here?) I had so much fun singing to the baby. He smiled at me you know. We ordered lots of take out food and just enjoyed being together.
