Starting in September when most publications reopen for submissions:

35 journals submitted to
48 different poems
149 poems total (obviously plenty of simultaneous submission, but I try to keep it a max of four places per poem and the same places to make the record keeping easier)
2 essays

3 rejections--one of them very very positive

Two years ago I had 5 acceptances; Last year, zippo poems though I did publish a book review.

I am living in a state of hope.
