The teenage helper in David's class wrote him a lovely note saying she'd noticed how much he'd come to love Sunday School and how much fun he had belting out all the songs. He was eager to show us his various Sammy the Spider coloring books and the Hebrew name for animals sheet. Rose was equally eager to show her mensch wall and a book of Bible stories.

We hung out at the post Sunday School festival admiring the magician, dancing to the Klezmer music, and conning me out of snow cones and popcorn. It was sunny, my friend Naomi joined us, and we had a great time.
