hanging with the cousins

This was a family reunion, and the first one in four years that didn't involve a marriage or memorial. In other words, there weren't a lot of other activities and people distracting us from each other. It was great.

I really like my relatives. I like talking to them about family history, our current jobs, child rearing strategies, So You Think You Can Dance. . .We have a lot in common, and I think that we all have children around the same age makes it even better.

I was worried the kids would be too shy to play together or too cool to play with the younger ones. Not to worry. The youngest child was everyone's favorite. Tevi is 1.5 the Pied Piper of the clan. Everywhere Tevi went, the children followed. Tevi is asking for kisses! Tevi threw a ball! Tevi is by the edge of the pool, isn't that cute! Luckily, there was always an adult close by.

I had good relationships with my second cousins (Hi Miriam and Sarah!) and hope they can too.
