Poetry in Nature
a poetry workshop for the whole family
When: August 12th, 1-3
Where: Discovery Park
Cost: $14 (all materials included)
cash or check in advance or day of workshop
Limit: 20 people
Instructor: Debby Bacharach has taught poetry to adults for twenty years and has been the visiting poet at Daniel Bagley Elementary for the past three years. She has published over 100 poems in journals such as The Antigonish Review, New Letters and Arts & Letters. Debby is passionate about working with children. She believes that children are inherently poets.
Additional Details: We will meet at the Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center. Parents are welcome to sign up and join their children in exploring nature through poetry.
