wii fit

John said we looked like a tv commercial, all the family gathered around the t.v. rooting for a child on their wii fit adventure. Yeah, well, I make no claims that wii fit is actually good for you, but since our family permits limited screen time, wii fit is probably a better choice than Arthur.

It poured Friday, and it was clear to me that with all recess cancelled, David had not gotten enough exercise. Lack of exercise leads to lack of ability to pay attention to your parents and related craziness. He refused to go outside, so I tried vigorous Simon Says, until he crashed into the rocking chair. Then I suggested we use the wii for the rest of his t.v. time. I am completely terrible at computer games and things that involve hand eye coordination, but David and I ended doing some great team work. He was on a Segway game. So, I helped him lean, and we did a lot of laughing and cheering. He also calmed down.

Rose, of course, wanted a turn, and so, for the last few t.v. times, we've been all doing rhythmic aerobics and dogging snow balls.
