The kids are bad at transitions. So am I, but I haven't thrown multiple fits in the last few days. I'm going to spend one sentence ranting about bad behavior, and then I'm going to help my happiness quotient by focusing on the positive. You ask David to get dressed, go to jazzercise, help clean, pick what he wants for breakfast, take turns with the stereo, and he crumples to the floor in agony; Rose whines, pouts, complains about David wanting to hug her, having to clean the bathroom again, David getting the first turn to pick music from the iphone, and being sent to her room for "accidentally" hitting David. And this is only day three of vacation.

David gives me constant hugs.

Rose took the Christmas craft project we had started a few weeks ago and did a ton more on her own time.

David pointed out that he came up to bed without having a fit.

Rose had a friend spend the night and went to sleep at a decent hour, as per request.

Rose, David, and John are currently playing Settlers of Cattan.

David did a great job cleaning his room by himself.

Rose wore her skirt at her waist without being told.

Rose and David loved playing with their 2 year old cousin, Tevi. They both brought him toys, pushed him on the swings, and basically adored him. Well, who wouldn't?

Rose got very excited about getting David a present from her and picked it out with Daddy.

At bedtime David said, Can we keep the mistletoe up all Christmas?
